The need for veterinary clinics is vast and every township/ informal settlement in the country is in dire need of assistance. 85% of these animals have no access to veterinary services.
We aim to assist disadvantaged owners (either the poor or those who don’t have access) with basic animal health care: vaccinations, parasite control, sterilizations, and with larger animals (cattle, sheep, pigs) assist with proper breeding programs.
These clinics take a long term approach, ensuring community understanding, acceptance and co-operation.
We currently work with the CCS (Compulsory community service) vet in our area and to date have established 9 clinics in outlying disadvantaged areas, reaching approx 700 dogs,450 cattle,80 sheep and 30 pigs in 2016 alone!
