Our Forever Homes Sanctuary Horses

Each of these horses are here to live out their natural lives in peace and dignity.

We currently have 11 horses at our sanctuary, all of whom have suffered some sort of neglect and/or abuse in their past. Our two latest editions to our herd are little cripple filly Valentine who has captured everyone heart with her bravery and spirit and dear old boy Shine, a retired cart horse from Thaba ‘Nchu. Vuma arrived during lockdown last year. He was a triple racer in nearby Manyatseng, and would have died if we hadn’t intervened.

Two of our horses are losing their sight, we believe blind horses also deserve a second chance and aim to raise public awareness about the plight of blind horses and that they can in fact lead normal lives!

We have also placed a couple of older horses in carefully selected homes where they will remain for the rest of their natural lives, and cannot be moved or sold without our permission.
